"With every breath out, you become heavier, softer, deeper."
We carry far more tension in our bodies than we realise — in our jaw, our shoulders, our hands, and particularly in the pelvic floor. This session uses the exhale as a systematic release tool, guiding you through the body region by region and teaching you to associate the feeling of breathing out with the physical sensation of muscles lengthening, softening, and letting go. This skill is especially valuable during the second stage of labour, when the ability to consciously release the pelvic floor on the exhale can make a significant difference to how your body opens and how comfortable the birthing phase feels.
When to listen

- •To release pelvic floor tension.
