How we prepare useful, careful content—and where its limits belong.

Published 21 September 2026.

Who prepares the content

The Hypnobirthing+ Editorial Team prepares the site’s articles, educational pages and public descriptions for APP STAR FAMILY PTE. LTD. If a qualified professional has not genuinely reviewed a piece, we do not add a reviewer name or imply clinical approval.

What we are trying to provide

Our content supports general pregnancy relaxation, birth preparation, guided listening and conversations with chosen support people. It is designed to explain what a session or practice is for, what someone may experience and what it cannot promise.

Hypnobirthing+ is not a medical provider, an emergency service or an instructor-led antenatal course. The content does not diagnose a condition, assess labour, prescribe treatment or replace advice and care from a midwife, doctor or maternity team.

How we choose sources

For health, safety and evidence statements, we prioritise current guidance from public-health bodies, maternity-care organisations, professional guidelines and systematic evidence reviews. Examples include the NHS, NICE, HSE, ACOG and Cochrane. Charities and education organisations may add practical context when their scope and review process are clear.

References are linked near the claims they support or in a sources section. A link is not an endorsement of Hypnobirthing+ by that source. We avoid using commercial course claims as evidence for outcomes.

Medical boundaries and professional review

We do not promise a pain-free birth, prevent complications, guarantee sleep or suggest that a particular mindset determines an outcome. Questions about symptoms, mental health, medication, labour or an individual care plan belong with an appropriate qualified professional.

A real named reviewer will appear only when that person has reviewed the relevant version and has agreed that their name and credentials may be shown. Until then, the reviewer field is omitted rather than filled with a generic title.

Updates and corrections

Articles show a publication date and a materially updated date when their substance changes. We do not change dates merely because the website was deployed. We revisit content when guidance changes, a source is superseded or a correction is needed.

To report an error, outdated source or unclear claim, please contact the team. We will assess the specific page and correct material errors without hiding the content’s limits.

Audio descriptions and reading editions

Public session descriptions explain a recording’s intended theme and safe listening context; they are not transcripts. Where a reading edition is available, it is labelled as an edited written companion that follows the session’s practice and imagery without claiming to reproduce the recording word for word. A public reading edition does not change the access controls protecting Premium audio.
