Sensation during birth is functional — it is your body working powerfully and purposefully, not a signal that something is wrong. This session teaches the counter-intuitive but transformative skill of relaxing into intensity rather than bracing against it. As you practise softening into the peak of a surge rather than tightening up, you help the circular muscle fibres of your uterus yield and open, allowing your body to work with maximum efficiency and minimum resistance.
